The Specified Products from China (Restriction on First Placing on the Market)(England Regulations 2008
This is about an unauthorised GMO called "Bt 63" which has been found in rice products from China. To be able to use any such material it must be accompanied by an original analytical report using an approved method report demonstating that it does not contain Bt 63.
Any operator who becomes aware of a positive test must inform the FSA immediately. |
